Is the same first name and DOB enough for Amazon to link accounts?
 

Wife's regular account got suspended so we're looking to make a semi-stealth. Her old account was made prior to us getting married so it uses her maiden name. All her documents now say my last name and we're using a different address + EIN as opposed to her SSN. Is the same DOB + first name enough to link the accounts?

Also for professional accounts is a business license always asked for or just by chance?

I don't know for certain, but I will err on the side of caution and say most probably, especially given the fact that its Amazon we're talking about. I presume you'll be selling the same items as before, so that will also contribute the risk of getting linked.

For the best chance of success on Amazon, you need to make the new account as unique as you can.

DOB is not required upon registration but as long as the information you use is unique and the ID you submit has not been sent in before, you should be okay

Yes Business License is a common request these days
