Business License and Utility Bill Question
 

When a new professional account is created, you must list the name associated on the account.

Is this idea below correct?

Name on Account: John Doe
Utility Bill Name: John Doe
Business License Name: ABC Products

I submitted this information and Amazon does not accept it. What was the error? Should by Name on Account and Utility Bill Name match the business license name ?

Everything has to match in order for the reps to approve it, the business name must match the business name you have on Amazon

Sometimes the reps will approve just name but if you want the highest chance of approvals everything must match

Obviously those “examples” are not the data thT will be used. My primary questions was is this setup ok:

Legal name: business name
Business license: business name
Utility bill: should this match the business name or the name of the person creating the account?

Business name under amazon store first and last name would be ideal

Is the business license required? It says business license (if applicable).

I would assume many people do not have business licenses and use EINs as as sub chapter S corp...

doesn't really matter if its required or not as the rep reviewing the application will either green light it or not

odds are if you don't provide it, you'll have a harder time getting verified

What about cities that do not require businesses to get a city business license. I know of one, and I am sure there are thousands other in the US.....

Are people making the reps jobs easier? Is it better to draw an arrow to the business name and address on the utility bill so they can quickly find it ?

Ive gotten many accounts approved with the utility bill alone ,the business license isnt necessary.
