Default Goodbye Amazon BUYER account.

First of all, can Amazon even do this? I find it extremely unfair & abusive.

I'm going to keep it as short as possible.

Bought a gift card (in real life, authorized retailer) and I made a fresh Amazon.com account to place my buyers order.

Shortly after paying with only a gift card I get an e-mail saying my account has been locked.

E-mail was from address verification @ amazon. com

They want a credit card billing statement, passport, or ID. They claim I placed the order and some "billing information" ( I paid with Amazon gift card) is mismatching the bank. What the f*ck? What bank?

E-mailed them back and forth asking why they need all this info, when I paid with their own "currency" and now they CLOSED my account, with the gift card inside.

Are you sure it was from Amazon? Amazon does not usually close buyer accounts. Call them up and see.

I've been in this situation before.

The buyer's address probably was banned.

You created a fresh account with their address and got it linked to the banned account.

Either that or you have a card attached to the account (maybe for Prime?) and accidentally ordered with that and AVS failed.

I know how you feel, that dread of trying to login and you get that stupid f**king incorrect password error. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil. I hate Amazon.

Only once did I get an account opened back up. I came clean to the customer service rep and told him I was dropshipping. The amount of the GC was massive ($700+) so he was sympathetic and talked to the specialist (since they don't have a phone line, WTF it is 2018..). By the grace of sweet baby Jesus Christ I got the account opened back up.

This is exactly what happened to me. My blood boiled too.

No prime trial or anything.

What is a good way to create Amazon accounts?

I've been told on here Amazon is a different beast (tracking users wise) than eBay. Would a fresh VM with a proxy work?

I'm afraid to continue processing orders. I lost 100% of my investment due to Amazon.

Amazon relies heavily on user agents. Panopticlick will be your best friend. You either want your user agent to be the same as a lot of people, or unique only to yourself. You never want to two have two accounts have the same user agent.

I have been many times in this situation but on EU Amazon accounts not US ones, I always got my accounts back (some accounts even was blocked more than once, and was able to reactivate them).

When they ask for card statement, I create a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one with the last transactions amounts of last orders I made on the amazon account and showing the name on Amazon as the cardholder, it doesn't need to be paper statement, I used to change the source code of an online ewallet with virtual card and adapt it to my needs, take a screenshot, and explain to them that it's a virtual card used for online purchases.

Some other times (generally when using GiftCard balance), they just suspend the account and don't ask for anything, in this case I call them, they ask some questions about the billing address (Street number and ZIP code) of the card I'm using to pay for the Prime membership, or to load the Amazon account balance, sometimes they ask for the phone number attached to the account as well.

And in all cases after a few minutes, the account is active again.
