Default Amazon Removed Chat Privileges

On my account the amazon live chat is permanently gone. Is this from opening too many cases? Also can it be reinstated?

I have a brand new account and I never saw the chat option.
I really don’t know why this is.

Seller support chat option is always available

Are you talking about your account which was permanently suspended? If that is the case then you shouldn't have any option besides phone available

I know If you abuse the return system in their eyes as a buyer, they nuke options one by one to contact them Until they close your account.

Not sure if its the same for sellers

No I’m not suspended.

Chat is no longer available it is removed from my account permanently

Correct! My seller pro account is a month old and there was never the chat option available. Just email and phone. And the account is active and live!

That's strange... I have never heard of this issue.
They usually just nuke you if you are a bad buyer or seller.

Maybe it's a glitch? I don't think I see anything in the seller forum as well about this

yeah all my stealth accounts has the chat function removed. and the chat function was there a few days ago!

I contact the seller support and this is what they wrote:

I understand, how useful the chat option has been for sellers to reach us, but I’m sorry to inform that “chat” option is currently unavailable for all the sellers on Amazon and we don’t have information about the availability of “Chat” service in the future.

We are receiving a lot of cases from our sellers to reinstate the chat option so we are forwarding the feedback which we are receiving to our business team to help our sellers.
