Is using Ubuntu a red flag?

I'm trying to switch over to VM's and for some reason I'm struggling with Windows. I installed XP but spent the whole day trying to figure out why the internet on it won't connect even after I installed the proper drivers. Some people have said it could be a problem with the iso I used but I wasn't sure if it was that or my own error because Virtual box is new to me so I tried to install Ubuntu and it worked immediately. I'm trying to figure out if it's ok to use Ubuntu to make a new amazon account or if that's a red flag since it's not common. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

For a single account I dont see it being an issue

Trying to run 5/6 accounts using the same OS could be an issue though as its not common

Try changing the network settings to host only on the virtual machine and see if that fixes it, or NAT or Bridged

If you were trying to use Tiny7 it's a known issue with some of they copies out there... I fixed it a couple times, but it's been so long ago I can't remember what I did... But I know I found a version that worked without having to fix it too... Maybe try a few different ISO's.

Re: Is using Ubuntu a red flag?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I tried messing with the network settings and it didn't work. It's weird because it says it's connected when I go to control panel but Internet explorer wouldn't load any pages so I downloaded Firefox because I thought it might just be because internet explorer sucks. I managed to install it but it won't load either. Anyway I managed to install Windows 7 and it worked I was just trying to be stingy with resources because I wasn't sure how much space/ ram a machine takes up. I'll try a different iso if it Windows 7 ends up being too much. Thanks again!

Using Linux won't kill your account instantly but it's another red flag against your account if you run into any issues. You need to blend into the background when running ghost accounts not stand out

Using linux is a red flag cos not so many people open their account using linux, if they do browser fingerprinting then your account can be flagged.
