Hi All,

Haven't been on this forum for a few years now. Glad to see it is still going strong

I am in the process of setting up a new amazon UK seller account, I am unable to set up in my own name, however I do have a friend who will set up their name.

My question is can I use my UK t/a business account to withdraw or would I need a bank account registered in their name?

What's the best way forward, ideally I want to control 100% of the bank account for obvious reasons.

Would it best to incorporate the company (make a ltd company bank account too) and have the friends name as a director but with me also director and 100% shareholder, would Amazon check companies house etc.?

Until you reach £15K, and Amazon want bank statements you mean? What about at this point? If needed, please PM me on what to do at this point. As all of the information is legit, I want/expect to have the potential surpass the £15K limit.

Does amazon check companieshouse GOV website?

Name mismatch not a big deal.

Amazon will most definitely check companies house .

But if someone else from company register account, than "companieshouse" representative doesn't matter?

Because Amazon allow to register business account with for example manager name and surname.

Im not sure I understand.

Are you saying if a company had two directors, only one director would need be registered on amazon?

What if the other director that don’t register is already banned on Amazon, will theyvlink this and just ban the amazon account, even tho the second banned dirdctor never registered on amazon?

Bank Account has to be in your friends name, before Amazon allowed to add bank account with any name, but now the account holder name has to be same with account name. when you add your sort code account number on Deposit method section you will not be able to change name. If your name mismatches for more than two letters you have a chance that bank will reject the payment.

You need to enter all the director details in Amazon and they will ask for id for all the directors possible proof of address aswell

Bank account has to be on business name

Its not that easy what you think

They ask all sorts of company and personal documents and do verify info from company house
