Ghost Account - Credit Card Issue

Hello everyone,

I've opened a new company to create an Amazon ghost account. The credit card of the new company is under my name. The credit card of the original company which Amazon suspended was also under my name.
Other than that, I followed all other guidelines (changing router, phone, computer, etc.).

My question is - is this risky? can Amazon do 1+1 and only based on identical names on the credit card suspend the ghost account?

Thanks

I would say it's hardly risky as long as the companies are different and CC numbers are different.

For example, there are a lot of different persons named the same - "John Smith".

You put the name on the stealth/new account, you don't put the name on your credit card.

You want to minimise the number of similarities. Even a few similarities could be enough to link you, i.e. name now, followed the the items you start to sell.

They can only match the information you provide them

If you are only adding a card # that has never been used before, then you won't get linked by card

But when I write the card number I also write the name of the card which is identical to the suspended card. Obviously there are many "John Smith" but who knows what Amazon's code is capable of.

As Play has stated previously, you don't enter the actual name that is printed on the card. You need to enter the ghost name you have registered. They cannot 'see' the name on the card.

They usually don't suspend just by name if its not unique name, If its your name is John Smith then its good, cos there are lots of John Smith's on Amazon, but if your name is Aramis Kadabra or etc then you might get suspended, cos human can do a manual review of your account. And link you to your previous suspended account, sometimes they don't have to be sure 100% to close someone else's account.
