AMZ refunded A-to-Z claim

Buyer claimed item not recieved. Checked tracking # it shows delivered. Buyer opened A-to-Z claim, I uploaded tracking #, AMZ refunds buyer.

Is this how AMZ operates?

did you ship with signature required? If not, yeah, this is standard procedure on Amazon.

Yikes, okay then. It's good this doesn't happen very often because this could be easily abused.

and even when you ship with signature, they can still win by open Item not as Described Claim which is 100% win. Either way, you still lose. And it's getting abuse on Amazon nowadays.

Ive also heard of INR cases being approved and refunded WITH a signature

Amazon just sucks. I hate them... but they make 90% of my business now

OP has the customer sent the item back? If not maybe threaten him to take the a-z back or else you'd consider to press charges against him.
