Does ungating for one model in a brand help for all models?
 

Hello, I found an authorized distributor for a product in a gated brand. If I purchase from this distributor (over 10 units) for one model and amazon clears it based on the invoice, am I allowed to sell other models within that brand as well without another invoice?

Is the ungating for a specific model within the brand or for the brand entirely?

If you get a brand approval, you may still have some models within that brand also require ASIN approval.

Depends on what your ungating

Sometimes the entire catagory will be open to you, other times just the single item

Depends entirely on the rules in those brands and you may get a person who reviewed your application and just went "ok" and others who are tougher.

There's always guidelines in their end so it's hard to give you a yes or no answer

Best way to go about it is to look up every single ASIN you plan on selling

You'll see the requirements when you try adding it to your inventory

Either Brand or ASIN approval is required, sometimes both on some items

Even category approval can be required on some items that also require Brand + ASIN approval
