Target VISA giftcards purchase with credit card

Just wondering if anyone has purchased giftcards at target lately? Do they allow you to use a target card/credit card to purchase?

Looking to get some extra cash....want to purchase visa giftcard with my target store card...

Apparently using a CC is now permitted at Target and a few other places. It used to be banned pretty much everywhere due to counterfeit CC's and people using gift cards to rack up rewards points.

If you're talking about their "RED" card it looks like you can use it but you won't get the usual discount.

I didn't think most stores allowed purchases of gift cards with credit cards

I know some stores allow debit card purchases

Your target CC may work since its a target issued CC however
