Setting up new Amazon UK
 

Hi. I had a amazon account on my own name years ago, and also some relatives. These got suspended due to poor metrics.

I'm looking to set up amazon again. The days i had amazon they didn't ask for id or any verification docs i therefore want advice.

I'm now at a new address, new ltd company, new bank, new cc, vpn etc

Should i go ahead and set up with my legit details.

or is it best to set up as a stealth account and run a few unverified accounts until i hit the £15k mark when further verification occurs.

Not aware of all the changes over the last few years so any advice on setting up UK amazon would be appreciated. I am also looking to use FBA.

If your old details are banned any new details in which your DOB and name are the same will also get you banned

Stealth is a very good option though :)

Bear in mind if your account is not verified and if you sell faster than usual , say when you reach £5k in sales amazon might ask you for docs to verify your identity. Amazon says that they will ask for docs when you reach £15k limit, but its not true. They can ask you for docs at any time. It depends how fast is your sales are, if you sell slowly then you can reach £13k-£14k without getting asked for docs. But if you sales are fast then amazon might ask you for docs when you reach £5k-£6k.

Curious, does Amazon ever specifically ask for DOB for a seller account? I dont remember Amazon ever asking for this.

Unless you are referring to the DOB on the ID he submits. For NA they ask for ID which will show your DOB but they dont ask you to type it out. They may or may not store it themselves manually. OR on UK seller accounts they specifically ask for these unique details during creation.

90% sure in the UK they ask during the sign up

The also 90% of the time ask for docs before heh allow you to sell anything at all

If you don't use the same thing like same name and DOB then you will suffer otherwise you will be banned

If i remember correctly i wasn't asked for DOB when i made the accounts.

I think multiple stealth accounts is the way forward.

Any tips, i.e. which sort of account should i go for. other info in setting up

I'll have new vcc, vpn, new bank account, stealth name & address etc

Amazon doesn't like VPN.

UK Amazon will request DOB upon registration
