That info makes no sense. Why would Amazon not like their "own" gift cards? The risky source would essential be Amazon since they are selling gift cards to companies providing them to customers.

Re: Amazon EGift Card
Some people acquire Amazon GCs fraudulently, and if you use them or too many of them on your shop, they will perm suspend the amazon store
You can find many threads of people "suddenly" getting suspended on aspkin or other forums.
If you're buying them from legit places you won't have issues, but if you're buying them from localbitcoins @ 40% over the face value... Good luck...

There are two type of sellers who are willing to sell amazon gift cards.
Seller 1: stupid people who dont buy things much online. ( you can find these peope on craiglist, but dont ever think of finding them on eBay. Because if they know how to create seller acct to list on ebay, they’re considered as experienced online shoppers)
Seller 2: hackers who got those gift cards by using stolen credit cards.
Who the hell would sell their like-cash stuff for less than the face value?
Who the hell would sell their like-cash stuff for less than the face value?
people who prefer cash to amazon vouchers? Who said they sell for less, they often go for the same price or more, somethimes a bit less, never alot less. In fact it is the buyers that are often hackers (people who hacked a paypal), which is why the sellers of these in great quantities (unsure of their sources) often ask for a phone number or check each order for fraud risk.
