New Account Charge methods
 

I have a new Amazon CA account and I opened a new bank account and got a credit card to run this account.

Can I use the new credit card as the charge method for the account or do I need to get a VCC?

The billing address of the credit card won’t match the billing address of my amazon account.

I just realized I’ll have to add a new billing address or use the account billing address to use it.
Should I add the correct billing address of the card (I’ve used this address on another account) or just add the card and use the current account billing address

Mismatching info for charge cards do not seem to be a problem for the majority of cards

Unless you are using a prepaid, preloaded, giftcard, you should be good to go

Make sure all the info you're adding including the new card/bank has never been used on Amazon before

DO amazon check the name of the account holder actually matches the the card ? What is the quickest way to get a mastercard or debit card for Amazon Uk purposes.

Just yesterday I have used my debit card and entered its card number and expiry as it is actually but changed the name and billing address when entering it for Amazon because the real billing address and name can be linked back to a suspended acc. However amazon did not accept this saying that it was invalid card details. I thought they couldn't link the name and address with the card number?!

if so any idea what alternative can be used?

They dont check if names match.

Using your own, often times works.

What card was it? Most work, some dont.

You would normally enter the name and address on the amazon account (not card).

If it gets rejected, probably the card at fault, and not the address/name you've entered.
