Amazon 90 day hold of seller funds
 

its been over the 90 days since amazon holds your money, i have rang seller support 3 times and sent payments team and seller performance emails still no reply or disbursement on funds.

what can anyone suggest. this is my real account not stealth. but they just arent releasing funds even though seller support said they shouldve done by now.

cam you still login to the account? if yes then just email jeff again, they should replied to your request within 5 days

File a complaint with bbb.org . But if you received the "we may withhold funds permanently" you may be **** out of lock

seller support has said i shouldve had my funds by now. and emails only state till 90 days and maybe longer if needed. doesnt state they keeping funds.

i need a few accounts in past all received money in end, but they arent replying to emails.

i emailed jeff this morning and yes i can log into my account.

I have $6,000 on hold for 90 days and received this letter today, Hello,

We reviewed the information you provided, and we have decided not to disburse any funds to you. Due to the nature of our business, we do not provide details on our investigation methods.

We may not respond to further emails regarding the status of your account or the permanent hold on your funds.

THIS IS BONE CHILLING! I have never had this happen, I always get my money after 90 days. I have another store with 10k coming up for funds release in November. I don't know if they are going to steal that too.

It depends on the reason for the 90 day hold these days.

As of a few months ago they started holding funds beyond 90 days for specific types of suspensions

What are their reasons for holding funds?

I'm very curious about your practices and business model. I can't imagine if you do legitimate business on Amazon under a stealth account that you would get your funds held.

Amazon held my funds ($65k) since March of this year. The account was suspended due to a barrage of Intellectual Property Complaints and Inauthenticity Claims, which is the worst as Amazon can hold your funds indefinitely for this reason. I was very worried that the funds would never be released. I had received messages like the OP claiming that the funds would not be released. However, after posting around here and doing some research, I devised a plan that worked!

The image here shows the held funds on Sept 12th and then the deposit of the funds just 15 days later on the 27th of the remainder of my funds! I thought I'd post this as a ray of hope

Yep. This wasn't a stealth account though. It was my legitimate account with all of my real details. Not sure if that had any weight on the decision, but I don't think so.

That is correct, as long as your az business is legit, there's no reason for them to hold the funds and keep it.

Even when competitors report you, you can prove that you are legit and funds will be released after 90 days.

Yea, I have 24k on holding under my stealth account due to inauthentic complaints, and i was told the fund will be hold indefinitely. I'm not selling counterfeit but some of them are not new as described. Wonder how you guys can get back the money.

Our account has been Suspended, but the funds has been reserved since jun
20th, 2018.
And all my products are sold Fullfillment By Amazon, the funds should be
only reserved 90 days. But until now we still have not received any our
remaining balance. Are we missing something here?.

last year,a few foreign sellers have their fund withheld by Paypal,they are precious metal dealers from Australia,Israel.
The one in Australia has $87k withheld,it has a website and brick and mortar store in Australia,but thy decide to sell on Ebay ,claimed to sell wholesale to pensioner who then resell to individual,they left the sales proceeds of $87k in their paypal account.
after a few months of haggling,they have to get a lawyer to make PAYPAL release the fund.
Never say why they keep so much money in their Paypal account,the only motive one could think of is tax evasion (aka Australian tax),but thats not PAYAL business !
So they can no longer use Paypal,their Ebay account is fine,but being in Australia,they dont have a way to accept credit card direct using one of two gateways which works with Ebay,they are only good for US sellers.
yes,paypal can withhold your fund indefinitely
