ID Verification - What does this Amazon mean?

Hello all,

Creating a ghost account (professional). I have uploaded all documents and upon submission I receive this message:

"Thank you for your request.

We have recieved your information and may reach out to you for further clarification within 2 business days."

I'm wondering: a) If this is normal? and b) If they do call what should I expect them to ask?

Looks to me like an automated message stating that they received your docs and they'll let you know when they confirm them. What's the issue? And, they aren't going to call you, they will message you

SHould be fine. It sometimes takes them a few days to finalize your account.
which docs did you submit btw?

This is my first ghost account. So I wasn't sure if that message was normal. Thanks for your reply!

Ah, okay. As I told Scottie, this is my first ghost account. I used DL and Bank statement. Thank you for reply!

Normal just give them time to get back to you

it usually take 5 to 9 hours for their decision. Either they will approve it without any notice or email you asking to re-upload anothers.

Sometimes even 15 minutes to an hour... They can be quick when they want to be

All went well. Got through the approval part after about a day. However there is another small hick up. I tried to use a vanilla gift card (silver) as a credit card (it initially went through) but now they're requesting I replace it.

Are we using real debit cards but changing billing addresses now? Thanks everyone! I'm very thankful for this forum!

Not sure if its the same on US side, but i also signed up and was approved today, and my vanilla was refused as well, both visa/mc, also tried CIBC smart prepaid and didn't work either. Each time they sent me a message with a few possibilities of why the card isn't working. #4 is "Card is a pre-paid credit card."

So for CA i don't think any prepaids would work
