New Tax Interview Rules

So, everyone has to tax verify every account by Oct 31st? Even individual accounts? I only received this e-mail on one of my non-verified account, not the other 2. What about everybody else?

Just received it today on one of my accounts, says it's mandatory now. Either by the 50th transaction or by October 24th. Whichever comes first. Ughhh.

Do you mean "Yes Amazon.com" accounts or ALL amazon accounts?

During the tax interview put non-us citizen, boom NO SSN/EIN required. If you signed up using US ID though may be different.

IDK. Mine is U.S., not Canada. The U.S. flag means that I am a U.S. citizen. Not sure that saying that I'm not would work out

It would mean you could bypass the SSN/EIN request.

As long as you report your income on your taxes I dont see a big deal.

Because Amazon cant really verify weather your using real info or not.They go off assumption by the docs you send in.

I tried. When you say that you are not a U.S. Citizen, it immediately points out that my address is in the U.S.
