Hi guys, my amazon account got suspended and I am opening another. I need a new name to use for the second account. I am hoping to use a family member. None of them have sold on amazon, but we are all connected as buyers. I am wondering whether connections between buyer and seller accounts matter?

My first seller account used my name and home address in the beginning before switching to the LLC.

Most of my family has at one point used my buyer account or had a purchase mailed to them from it.

Does Amazon care about connections made between seller and personal accounts or is any family who I sent presents to or who bought using my seller account unusable for the new seller account info?

I would start by buying the Amazon Ghost guide, if you haven't already. A lot of the basics will be covered there, which I dont think you've sussed yet.

I'd avoid using your family members details.

Thank you, yes I have Amazon Ghost. It says to avoid a family member who already has an Amazon account. But most of these family members don't have a personal account themselves, just have received gifts or items from me or used the account to send items to family/friends etc. These would be people who didn't have an account themselves.

Without that, my pool of options is almost nonexistent in regards to someone who could provide ID if needed.

You should look into Amazon stealth shops before talking to family members about using their information.

You may be better off with legit info using a family member, but then they will be part of your business of selling online.
