Default Amazon Seller Account Under Review

I know I have read bits and pieces in regards to Amazon Accounts under Review.

Let me briefly explain my situation

About 10 days ago I received an e-mail letting me know My Amazon Account Was under review due to a complaint about the authenticity of one of my items.

Called support to clarify what was needed. They where helpful in stating that I had 24 hrs to send a Action Plan and Invoices for the items in question. If I didn't reply my account would be suspended.

Within 24 hrs all info was submitted.

Now it's been 10 days without any replies from the seller performance team and I still see the message "your account is under review" in seller central.

- I am still able to sell
- I am not able get any disbursements

Like most now I am wondering how long might this go on for....why the delay and what I should do

Any suggestions what I should do if anything would be greatly appreciated

Atleast for .com these reviews can take 30-60+ days. Mine was 30 days. Try and ask for some feedback....

Do you mean by e-mailing seller performance and asking for an update..or something along the line of asking if there is anything else I can do?

You can call support be super nice to the foreign call center. Usually they will transfer you to a USA call center if they see it’s beyond their reach. But every department is super back logged. My simple requests are taking over a week when it used to take 1-2 hours.

I mean get buyers to leave positive feedback, that will help when your account is reviewed. Other then that, its just a waiting game. Expect 30-60+ days on these reviews.

I would create an appeal for the item in question. You need to provide documentation and a thorough appeal. I personally wouldnt call amazon yet. Wait patiently, or send another email/appeal
I find sometimes the more persistent you are with amazon the further you get

As others said reviews can take a long time and no one really knows how long they will take. One of my accounts it only took a few days to review an invoice but no plan of action was requested. May I ask what genre it was in? For example was it health / beauty? Was it an Apple product?

Ive read some threads where people send an email once a day to seller performance / jeff bezos until they finally got a response, but this may could backfire and complicate the original case which triggered the review.

If I was you id call seller support and ask them whats up, ask them to send an email to seller performance on why its taking so long. Send an email to seller performance asking for an update. If you get no update after a week id ramp up my emails by sending more and more and contact jeff bezos.

Since we approaching the X-mas season this could also be a caution for sensitive genres.

Dont send them an appeal or a POA until they ask for it. Leave the account be for the time being, let them do their review. Maybe in a week or so, I would call up and ask if there is any update.

this does not seem like an invoice review, but an account review, which is normal in these cases. This will take 30-60+ days. Sometimes even 90days. I would only send an email after 30 days.

The account is 2 years old.

The account review came from an inauthentic complaint.

I have over 1000 positive reviews and have been selling the same amount daily for about 1.5 yrs.

I provided them with a Plan along with invoices as they requested.

My thoughts are if there was any issues they would have suspended me immediately. That being said I also believe they are leaving the review open for a period of time to see if it continues and if the account has no issues.

I have read that reviews in this situation take from 5-14 business days.

So I am waiting for the 14 days to come up and then what should I do without raising their ire?

Those are just my thoughts

Yes I have been waiting it out...but how long should I wait is also the question.

I know Amazon can go on Forever but honestly what is a practical amount amount of time considering they have all the information and have not replied by now.

I wouldnt go sending on the appeal again just yet. I would call up seller support and ask to see if there are any notes on the account regarding the suspension.

After 25 days I was allowed to disburse my funds but since that point I still have a message appearing on the top of seller central that I am still under review.

So on Oct 17th I was placed in review status with no disbursements
On Nov 12 I was able to disburse
Currently can disburse but still saying I'm under review.

This to mean seems odd.

Has this happened to anyone and/or what should I expect to happen?

So your accounts been under review for a little over 2 months now. Seems like a long time to me. When I was suspended it was immediate, no review period.

If this has not already been stated try emailing jeff on why its taking so long and that you've emailed your invoices + POA.
