Length of time it takes for Amazon to respond to documents requested email
 

In the past I would make an account. They would request the usual business license and utility bill. I would send the documents via email to seller performance. Within 30 mins to an hour. I get approved.

I just sent my documents on Friday. And haven't received any emails back so far. I know they are pretty good responding within 24 hours and sometimes pushing it to 48 hours. But I know I'm jumping the gun here. Should I be getting a little worried? Could it possibly be because of the 4th quarter they are backed up with emails and it's taking time, and they really sit down and analyze every document that comes in because of all the scammers in the 4th? Or is it simply just because of the weekend. And they get back to work during the week. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if it's just the norm.

It can usually take anywhere from 1 hour to 3 days or more.

My suggestion is wait until tomorrow then call them up if nothing else.

I have a few that have not been responded to over the weekend, they could have had a busy last couple days.

I'm waiting a couple more days before re-submitting

Ok cool this makes me feel better. Wow a "few". How many do you usually do at one time? Just out of curiosity.

I would always give them a few days

It can be a few hours, but anything upto 3/4 days is possible and nothing to worry about

Amazon usually respond to appeals within 48hours, although i have had to wait up to a month before. With success. Sometimes its best to chase them up after a week or so with another appeal letter :)

Yeah lots of denials and some got through.

The weekend caused a 1-2 day delay for most of them

I submitted a couple more today and they were fast as usual. I would message them again if you don't hear anything within a few business days

I'll send them a email with the documents again. Should I reply to the appeal button in seller central. You think that would get their attention and get them to respond to me?
