Amazon Accepts Retail Receipts?
 

Hello Guys,

So I have never been asked by Amazon to provide any receipt or invoice for anything. However, that account got suspended due to BS IP complaints and now I want to purchase a stealth account.

However, I wonder whether Amazon Accepts retail invoices, CJ from

says on one of his youtube videos, that Amazon now accepts Walmart Receipts. Those of you who have dealt with Receipt request, do you think Amazon accepts other retailers too? Like Best Buy or Target and etc?

and by the way lets say the business model is Retail Arbitrage FBA. Also if you think they do NOT accept that, would they release your inventory and money after 90 days?

argh, amazon will accept anything depending on the situation. It depends on the reason, brand, etc. There is no yes or no in these situations. Tread lightly.

I see, so basically should I worry too much about it at this point? or I should leave that for the time I get hit with it? and is it a very common thing?

It can be common depending on what you sell. A low risk, low value item, not at all. I've never had any such requests till this day.

However many do, so I assume they must be selling higher value, or more riskier items.

Yeah usually depends on each case, for smaller brands, lower risk items, retail receipts are generally ok!

If you are account is auto flagged from amazon bots, they will typically accept retail & commercial invoices

If you are account is flagged from aggressive competitors flagging your listings, they will put more scrutiny into reviewing the invoices you submit. Expect them to call in a lot of cases the number you have listed on the invoices
