Amazon double verification on US account
 

Amazon instituted a while back this double verification system where you needed to receive a phone call from their system and punch in a code EVERY time you enter the Amazon.com site.

All of a sudden, my accounts were not getting the phone call, and they were requiring that in order for them to reinstate the account, I had to provide some sort of picture ID.

Of course, those accounts do not have real names. And I do not have picture IDs for those accounts.

What can I do here?

Sounds like you are talking about two step security login

They still do that if you have a two step setup

ID verification if you lose two step is common and once you are back in they will allow you to update two step device settings

You can select the option to "remember device" if you do not wish to get a two step code every time you login
