When Amazon asks for Invoice?
 

I'm planning to launch a new product that my company has developed, meaning no one on Amazon has it.
Should I be worried that Amazon may ask for an invoice from supplier (which is problematic since the invoice will be under my name and not the ghost name), or they do it only when the ASIN already exist?

Amazon will ask for either an invoice or manufacturer details. If you rcompany has developed the product, you should be able to provide the latter.

If the item you are planning on selling is high risk, and your account is new, expect an invoice request

If you have competitors, aggressive ones in that same category, expect them to flag your listings and have amazon request invoices

So to be on the safe side, all invoices from manufacturer should be addressed to the ghost account owner name and not my company's name?

Just can ask your supplier to write the same invoice to the ghost name instead of your actual name. I'm sure you can spin it some way and get them to do it.

good advice!

Just make sure the supplier you're using aren't chinese if you can, amazon does not typically like chinese suppliers

you'll have higher approvals with US & EU suppliers etc

Do all invoices have to be addressed to the ghost name or once is enough and I can use that one to send them when they ask?

Yes the invoice details must match all the details exactly as the amazon account

You can request your supplier to customize an invoice for this reason

If the supplier will not supply for whatever reason can you create your own?
