Amazon keeping funds

Hi

I have been on this forum for a while and like most of you read how Amazon is using the "you may have sold inauthentic items or documents have been altered trick to keep your funds.

We all know how powerful social media is and was wondering if you would like to get together and cause enough noise on Social media and expose how Amazon is treating it's sellers.

Using Twitter, Facebook and putting details on a website and sharing this.

Also i can't promise anything but if everyone who has had funds held for good, we may be able to get a law firm to handle our case.

We all have lost thousands of pounds for doing nothing wrong. I had a genuine account and had just a couple of rogue buyers claim item was inauthentic but a quick google you can buy documents which tell you how to keep your goods and get your money back in full from Amazon. Or if you have tagged to a product and one of the sellers may have sold that item as non authentic then the product is deemed as a potential high risk item within amazon and every seller on that listing gets accused and their account is suspended

So I think we all should take a stand against Amazon.

If you are interested in causing a stink please PM me

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Just an FYI, 90% or more of people on this forum are running Stealth, the last thing most want on here is anyone looking into their accounts.

Also, When you sign up for Amazon you are agreeing with their Terms. They make the rules on their site and that's that.

You aren't the first to try and get this forum all fired up about what amazon is doing....won't be the last.

Hi I agree most of us have ran stealth accounts, so are you just going to let Amazon keep your hard earned money is the questions.
I am not and going to flight as much as I can atleast I have tried. They can't get away with this

I am looking into this option and also another one using the legal system to file legal action against Amazon UK head office.

You could alternatively buy legit products and have legit invoices :)

If you have real authentic invoices, they shouldn't be holding any funds

Buy legit products to a stealth name and stealth address?

Good luck with that!

Re: Amazon keeping funds

I suggest either Kenneth Eade or Amazon Sellers Lawyer for arbitration. With that being said, I only recommend it if you're not committing any kind of fraud or selling counterfeit items. I don't think stealth accounts matter because most of us are still paying taxes on our profits but these lawyers are both good and legitimate so don't waste their time if there's some impropriety. They're also not cheap so I'd plan on spending a few thousand minimum.

Products were genuine and also suppliers supplied the invoices, but Amazon want the supply chain documents which no suppliers is willing to give up

Seeing this trend more and more - not sure on the creative approach for this request though

Well, you made me think Mission Impossible.

If you caught their attention and they really look into your account or start reviewing every doc that you provided.

Do you really believe that is a good idea?

Astondbs,

I recently took Amazon to arbitration. Not sure where you're at in the process. Send me a private message if you'd like and we can discuss. Thanks.

Re: Amazon keeping funds

rsot, I filed the demand for arbitration. The filing fee was $1,000. We settled prior to formal hearing. Unfortunately, I think in most cases this is the only way Amazon sellers will get the money Amazon is threatening to permanently withhold. They're counting on people not jumping through the hoops to get the money back. I'm a licensed attorney, and in my case, the money was enough that I felt it was worth the risk of taking the matter to arbitration. Amazon has made it incredibly difficult to get the money after they arbitrarily single a seller out and accuse him/her of selling "inauthentic goods," but I don't think it's impossible to recover.
