Uptick in Account suspensions?

I recently had between (4-7) accounts suspended over a 2-4 month period.

Is anyone seeing similar numbers out there or a "quickness" for Amazon to draw a conclusion on a due account suspension without warning?

It is a whole new ball game and I hope I am an isolated case.

Any thoughts or experiences out there people can share whom own more than a few accounts?

Re: Uptick in Account suspensions?

Were they all suspended for different reasons, or are you saying they all got linked?

They do suspensions in batches.

Please give me the reason for each of your suspensions

Putting all the hate aside, they don't suspend someone without a reason. You must have done something. Bad seller performance? Copyright takedowns?

Remember the closer you get to xmas the more sensitive the amazon ban algo gets.

Does your code of conduct suspension have to do with intellectual property complaints?

Mine got suspended Nov 30 after 4 years... 100% feedback... sent POA to pq-sv-appeal - still haven't heard anything back. How long do they typically take to reply?

What caused the suspension? What was their email response and reason for suspension?

ibmcorp 12-06-2018 08:56 PM

Re: Uptick in Account suspensions?

The reason was inauthentic, probably a competitor.

They haven’t replied yet, that’s why I’m asking if anyone has recent experience to give us some timeline.

Btw, I can’t reply to private msgs yet. Canadianleaf: I don’t sell on Amazon CA sorry.

It sounds pretty like you are selling inauthentic product or your account got linked. If there was no reason at all, sometime because the defective rate super high, and takes couple days even weeks to receive the Email from Amazon.

@goodgame, were you always selling the same items on the accounts that got canned?

Hope they say something soon, it's been 1 week already. Of course I haven't sat idly by, I've taken the week to make a few more accounts :)

They didn't shut down, it's suspended, and I submitted a POA. Waiting to hear back... 8 days now.

Actually they do !!!

I've seen that especially when creating new accounts, there were no clear reasons behind suspending the accounts, but they suspend them.

Re: Uptick in Account suspensions?

They tend to have a reason on their end though, although they send out an automated suspension template, there is a reason they were suspended and not able to verify etc.

If you have connections to Amazon reps, you can have them pull up annotations to view suspension reasons etc, and then you will see the reason for suspension

Re: Uptick in Account suspensions?

If we had connections to amazon reps, we wouldn't be getting suspended. I for one would pay top dollar to have someone from seller performance on the payroll.
