Name on Utility Bill
 

I understand Amazon requires the name of the account/ID and on the utility bill to be identical. Problem is that the utility bill includes the middle name which doesn't appear in the ID (e.g. John Doe vs John Allen Doe).
Will Amazon accept that ?

If the first/last name matches and you just have a middle name on the doc, it should still be accepted

If its denied on the first time submitted, then submit a different utility bill without the middle name (perhaps creatively)

You can be very honest, explain this to Amazon. If it won't go through. Then be creative.

i was talking in general bro...like people get shut down with an llc, no one literally helps like, how u create a stealth when a person used the one ein a person can get, ghost guide says nothing about that...or guys trying to ungate and the answer is get invoice, i mean no **** get invoice..but there are people on here that have legit sources inside a certain selling website to easily get someone approved on categories.. yet every one here gives the answer you would get on the amazon seller forums circle jerk...

PDF has option of OCR (optical character recognition) but it doesn't work always.

can somebody help me getting creative with utility bills when you are actually not residing in a country you have registered your Amazon account ??

I recently had to change bank statement to match the names/address on my stealth account. I never changed any other info on the bank statement, just that. Somehow it got denied. Not sure how they are catching these, I actually created it with the .pdf creator, so everything looked perfect. Then I took a picture of the printed out statement with my phone, and sent the picture. Maybe the picture had info imbeded in it? I thought it's better than sending the doctored up .pdf file but maybe I was wrong. By the way, I always used to send doctored up .pdf files and they never got denied before lol Who knows, things change with amazon.

Yeah if you used that phone before to take pics they probably linked you on the meta data

Check out Exif remover, many sites / free software out there to remove those hidden datas

Amazon can actually identify you if you took a picture with your phone and used that picture to upload?

In my case, I had the utility sent to my mail as a PDF, I converted it to JPG to delete the typo and reconverted it to PDF, on a computer that Amazon already suspended me from once. Do I have reasons to be worried?

Yes if that same phone took pictures that were previously uploaded on Amazon

Look up / google EXIF information in JPEGs to see more info

The PDF may have metadata as well that would not hurt to clear

As a rule of thumb, is it better to send them .jpeg images or .pdf? Which one is safer?
