Creating accounts during holidays
 

Is it true that creating accounts during the holiday season more difficult. If so, in what exact way?

I know its the general consensus that it is harder, but is this just folk lore or do people here actually experience more difficulty? Explain the difficulty you experience. When do these holidays end and accounting creating becomes more relaxed, dec 25th? Jan 1st?

Amazon seems to be less lenient with the information you submit during the holidays

Much more picky / less likely to accept them etc

Yeah... Usually Jan/Feb it gets easier.

Is Jan 1st same to start? Im ready to make an account now and want to age it but I want to increase my chances.

Its only if they ask you for additional verification that issues are had

I am not sure if they ask for anything like that at the start in Canada

All accounts are asked for ID and utility bill / bank statement. I understand the holidays are more difficult to create accounts.

Im asking if Jan 1st is outside the difficult holiday time. I cant afford to wait until Feb to make an account

Just make one today and another one Jan 1st, and another Jan 15th

im not making 3 accounts, im making 1 using my real info which is finite. This is why im asking if theres a specific date such as jan 1st where the holiday window ends.

If its your real info, it does not matter when you make it odds are you will get through without issues, as long as you got your documentation lined up and ready to verify

You cannot make an new account with the same real details as one that has already been shot down... that’s just basic knowledge. You will get limited before you can count to 10

The only real details will be the name. Why cant I make a new account with unique details except the name? How will this get me shut down?

Using other details such as address, bank, etc sure - but I don't believe just name alone will get you. There are people with the same names, no?

If it’s just the name and everything else is totally different then it should be fine

Everything will be 100% unique. Phone, address, bank, VM with VPN, Business Number, 20:1 ratio of ASIN's, etc, everything.

I must have my legal name on the account so its shown my on the tax invoices Amazon.ca gives me. The Canada Revenue Agency will not accept tax invoices other than my name.

Besides sole prop - partnership and corps are legal entities in Canada. Corps is out of the question because of IRS CFC regime (Controlled Foreign Corporation) as a US citizen. Partnership is a possibility but I would need someone to sign as a partner and split my income with them. Then there's the docs amazon may ask of me for these entities such as Articles of Incorporation or Partnership Agreement which will be under my real name.

So long as you are sure you didn’t put the DOB on the original account then it should be fine

My original account(s) did not ask for DOB during the account creation / document upload. Idk if I gave my docs for these accounts since they were from 2014. Even if i did idk if Amazon manually copies the DOB from docs and registers it to your account.

Go for it and see what happens. If you get limited fast then it’s safe to say that they do have your DOB on file. Only one way to find out

In the case of 2 accounts getting linked it would likely be deleted
