Question regarding New Amazon Pro Acnt
 

Hello,

I mostly deal with ebay but this week i thought of giving amazon a go. I have never made a seller account before on amazon, just the normal buyers.

So i just went to the signup link of amazon sellers. Provided all the info, next next click next, some old LLC i had. On the page i entered VCC, it said 39$ each month for professional seller account. I tried to change it to normal seller but there was no such option.

So i had to add a reloaded vcc. Now i am seeing this dashboard (image below). What is that suppose to mean? Although the status says active, Is the account already dead?

I guess they'll ask for some docs as well in very near future?

ps: i have bought the amazon ghost as well and it has good knowledge but it looks pretty outdated (old images etc).

You can downgrade your account to individual. It not have fee $39 but you can list product not exceed 40 item/month. Your account status active mean you can start sell on amazon.

Looks normal... It says active, unless I'm missing something

Yeah it's good for now… just make sure you have docs ready when they ask for bank statement and ID.

Yea i got the email for docs saying my account is under review. But they didn't as for Bank statement or ID. This is what they are asking.

--Utility bill with name and address visible
--Business license, if applicable

So i guess Utility bill only will do?

They have already charged 39$ so i guess i'll stay atleast for a month on Pro.

Yeah the utility bill is when you usually update the bank or credit card on file. They will also ask for invoice of any active listings along with that email...

Also, down and upgrading from Pro may trigger doc requests.

Thanks for the headsup mate. I hope a utility bill will be sufficient for now.
I call it a good start in the first go, if the account hasn't burnt yet.
It seemed a lot easier than ebay.

Utility bill is usually not enough to get your shop reviewed/reinstated

You can try but its best to have more, like an invoice or business license with it
