Getting an LLC approved steps for amazon
 

I was suspended like 6-7 years ago for being young and dumb. Ive spent alot of time on this forum in the past but forgot my log in details.

I dont remember if I gave them my SSN back then so I dont know if I already burned it. I live in a new state with new address. I have new computers. The only way I think they can link me is via SSN if I did use it in the past.

I now have a legitimate business I want to bring to amazon. I am creating an LLC and I will use that information for this account but I am wondering what information will they seek from me the owner for this?

Will they also allow a PO Box address as the address of the LLC?

Just trying to figure out the steps of what is ahead of me int he application process so I can be ready for it.

You will need SSN to register a LLC.

Hi,

No PO Box for the LLC - use a UPS box or other mailbox rental with a street address
Get an EIN for the LLC - this way you don't have to use your SSN

Then you have a real address with EIN, no SSN - so no stressing if you gave it to them or not before.

What kind of documentation to they ask for in the approval process? With my wife they are asking her for ID and bank statements

ID, Bank statement, Utility bill, Business license, Invoices are the main requests

whats considered a "business license" exactly

i have an LLC is the ein a "license"

Depends on your state. Usually business license is not required. Just google "*state* business license".

If you have a piece of info of your old login, email / name etc we can probably help you get back your old account in here.

If you have a utility bill and invoices to back up the products you plan on selling and it all looks legit/solid, you may get through without the business license

But I know people getting denied with real business licenses as well so its really just hit or miss with amazon these days

If you don't get approved, move onto another shop and try again
