Should i use VMware or ?
 

hi
i have a few AZ accounts running well, each account comes with a pc (tablet).
the problem is : when i go outside, i have to bring 4-5 pcs with me, that's really a nightmare.
i am trying to use one pc for all of my AZ accounts by using VMware, just don't know how.
i remebered somebody mentioned that if we use apple mac, we can just use diffrent user account ( which it won't work for windows pc, i tried before) without linking, is this true?

if Apple mac works, that will save me a lot of time, otherwise, i have to go to VMware.

get virtual box and windows XP

you'll see how easy it is once you start setting up the 1st machine

its much more convenient having 1 computer operating multiple amazon stores

why windows xp ? not for win 10 ?

I dont have much experience with Amazon, however you can also try Multilogin or Kameleo browsers which are more faster and convenient than virtual machines.

You can use Win10 as well.

VMWare works good. Although Virtualbox by Oracle is a freeware and more lightweight.
So I always recommend Virtualbox. ;)

XP is a much smaller OS, you'll go through setup/installation much faster than win10

Windows 10 will require much more hardware resources. Moreso if you ran your VMs concurrently. It could be the difference between a £150 and a £1500 computer.

I use VmWare with Windows 7 Home Premium and haven't had an issue for years

Win 7 is a great OS, I use it as well on several accounts.

But if you have 20+ shops, installing win 7 that many times can be time consuming

Takes like 15 minutes to install XP these days

Is there a way to manage mutiple amazon accounts using virtual box on 1 single computer when you go on vacation ?

Yes that is precisely the benefit of using virtualbox on 1 laptop, you can run as many amazon stores as your computer specs will allow

If you're planning on operating 5+ stores then it doesn't hurt to have at least an i5+ processor with 8gb of ram or more.

Hey Beatiful, have you found that the operating systems you use get flagged more depending on the type of operating system - I've made a few VMs with Linux but I don't make seller accounts with them because I would imagine the pool of people that use linux is so small compared to windows. Just like the operating systems - not many people use windows xp or windows 7 anymore but i wouldn't want to use windows 10 on VM.

How fast is VMware nowadays?

The last time I tried using it it's super slow and painful to use.

Going to depend on what OS you install, How much ram you allocate to each VMWare, How many CPU's you allocate to it. Id recommend windows XP, 7, and even *gulp* Win Vista. There are "Lite Versions" of each OS, those don't need or require a lot of resources.

A lot of people use Windows XP, 7, Vista, Linux for VMWare.
