New account question - after initial registration
 

I have a quick question. Amazon recently will request a utility bill, business license, and invoices for active listings, right after approving your online account, and passing the ID/bank statement process.

What's the best way to get past this? 6 months ago, I replied saying I have no active listing, and am doing business in my name, so my account was OK'd. Now, they are denying it this way... should I include a business license, and invoice for things I plan to sell, although their email says only for active listings?

Has anyone had experience with this lately, and what did you do to get past it? Thank you

Yes provide them with the business license and utility bill if you have no active listings, just explain that in the appeal.

Is it the utility bill or they just don't take on many new accounts anymore? Acceptance is just not guaranteed is it?

Its both most likely, limiting the amount of registrations coming in, increasing the security/diligence on the docs they do end up accepting

This was an account I'm making for a relative, it's their real paperwork... I emailed Jeff now as the seller-performance is not willing to re-activate a brand new account with no sales.

Teach the relative to make own ghost accounts?

Hope it doesn't have to go that far... what is it coming to when you can't make an account even in your own name? Amazon is asking for ghost accounts.

Wait until Jan 15th or so hopefully the holiday season selling will slow down and in turn lower the security for account creation and or verification
