Connecting from my "flagged" home

I bought a new computer and a new phone and I plan to use the phone as a hotspot with the new computer to connect to Amazon. The location is my home that has internet and a computer which were flagged by Amazon.
I have any reason to be worried or as long as I connect with the hotspot I'm safe?

Well.....if you are going to use the phone as a hotspot then your home won't be an issue....Also, did you buy a new PC just to get a new account?

Took my brother's PC so in a sense, it's a "new" computer.

that's really a bad idea. new user account won't work.

Always get a new computer - I've tried reformatting the computer and Amazon still detects it's the same PC.... not worth the trouble.

A VM is better than a new computer imo. And can be set up or taken down in minutes

as long as you got a new computer, and new hospot, you should be good to go.

Make sure your new computer does not accidentally auto connect to the house wifi which may be a bad IP etc.

"Always", sorry but that's not entirely the best way to go. VMWare is the easiest method without having to spend money on a PC.

And if you a real cheap method, a $30 tablet could do the job.

I have been using VMWare for quite awhile, easiest and best method imo.

I also have been using VMware with 24vc for over 2 years and I've never had an issue.

Do you know what amazon look for when they close down linked accounts? For example name, address? Phone number? I need to make a new account and I’ve got everything new apart from my address but I am going to ‘adapt’ my address slightly sonits still my address maybe just spelt slightly different... any help much appreciated.

Reformatting a computer should wipe that PC clean and Amazon shouldn't be able to tag you. There must be something else that's automatic that you aren't aware of running.

You did not need to do all that. You only had to create a new user account on your computer and use a different IP, that was it. I have had many stealth accounts on the same computer, while it was flagged at eBay, I would guess it is pretty much the same with amazon.
Next time, do not buy a new computer or even a new phone for this, simply make a new computer user account, and change the IP when you log on. In regards to the phone you could just buy a new pre paid SIM card and use that, then you also have a new phone no to attach your new account.

It does for me, been doing it for years now. But also attaching a new IP.

User accounts is not enough for Amazon

Your fingerprint will be nearly identical on a different user account

You need separate laptops/tablets or create unique virtual machines

Re: Connecting from my "flagged" home

Your safest and most convienent method would be doing a unique Virtual machine with a new unused IP, I recommend 24VC or IPBurger.
