Using DBA or LLC for new Amazon account?
 

Wondering which would be better to use regarding the use of a DBA or LLC when setting up new amazon account.

You cannot use DBA for the w9 info, you will have to create a new LLC in order to get a EIN for it.

The IRS does not issue different EIN for DBAs...

Alright so it would just be best to go with the LLC for new accounts

Yep go with an LLC, keep everything organized.

Any additional stores you register, get additional LLCs

just remember, frm my experiences a few days ago,..,.even with an LLC EIN they will only accept a real persons name for tax interview not the LLC.

i got an LLC with family member so its a multi member llc..during tax interview for name i kept trying biz/llc name and wouldnt let me proceed...put fam members name and worked...thought the llc name would have worked being real...it seems somehow amz clearly sees names via the irs somehow
