Is amazon good for small time sellers compare to ebay
 

10 years ago, I tried selling on amazon my custom shirts but the percentage was so high on clothing I never ended up selling. But now, I'm more into selling licensed goods and wondering is amazon good platform to sell ? I have an account and think I should start using it. Been using amazon pay for my other site for several years now and just need to find some products but competition is pretty harsh. Wondering if most small time sellers on amazon doing dropship or do they buy in bulk and resale.

I suggest using a backup account and save your real account if you're unfamiliar with amazon. They are tough.

I feel that amazon is better for bigger sellers but of course you can start small and go big after.

10 years ago you didn't need brand/category approvals

That may have changed for the items you want to sell, and some of those brands are very hard to get approval for

I would research the items you want to see and see if the requirements to sell them have changed
