Stealth account lifespan
 

Quick poll question:

Who here has been able to create a stealth account under their real name
(same as their suspended account) and have it survive?

Im curious to hear from those who have...

It doesn't matter how many people have successfully ran another account sharing the same name as a suspended store

If you choose to do that, you will always have the risk of suspension due to linking, compared to not using the same name

You gotta weigh the risk on your end

Using the same name is not the general method. If I hear from others who have it would provide reassurance. I could also communicate with them and share tactics.

I have to use my real name for tax implications.

Same personal name. The account is a sole-prop and the legal entity is my real personal name.

My suspended account shared the same name.

Account is 2 weeks old so far. ~$1500 in sales. First disbursement in about 1 week.

Inventory ASINs 20:1

Actual sold ASINs probably 60-70% the same.

is there a way to use someone elses name without affecting their gross annual income/taxes, if that person is not actually associated with the account?

Tax Authority:

"Show us income statements or invoices to prove the fees you claimed on your income taxes and your GST/HST ITCs"

"Oh, its not in your name? I'm sorry, we cant accept these. We've reassessed your taxes and you now owe us $25,000"

I always thought people didn't care about the stealth account being in the right name because they can always tell the irs what they made. Won't the irs know you're real name under the ein or ssn but amazon will be tricked into thinking it's different name only?

We dont have the IRS in Canada, we have the CRA. We also dont have EIN's or SSN here.
