Requesting Additional EINs Under The Same LLC
 

I feel like I'm missing a key element of information here.

It's my understanding that you can file for, and legally obtain multiple EINs for the same company/LLC. However, I've also been told they cannot be filed under the "same name" as another EIN. I presume this is in reference to the company name.

Given that my EIN was requested for my LLCs name, do I need to request additional EINs using different business names, but then attribute them to the LLC as a master corporation of many smaller companies? If so, how exactly is this done?

I'm not a tax expert, but as I remember you can obtain multiple EINs for the same LLC.

If you're from US - just call IRS and ask or try to obtain several and see how they'll respond. ;)

New amazon store = unique LLC

You need unique/new information for every store
