Amazon Withholding Funds

I've seen Amazon withholding funds for different reasons recently, have other people been dealing with this?

Amazon's definition is very broad, how are people usually dealing with this? It seems arbitration is the way to go. Prohibited to them doesn't mean illegal, but against Amazon's bull**** policies, and sometimes it's simply them misinterpreting.

When these goods aren't counterfeit, what's everyone's best way to get their money back? I remember it used to only be for inauthentic items, but it seems like Amazon is withholding payments to pad their bottom line.

Your account has been identified as an unauthorized multiple or related account. Operating or maintaining multiple accounts is prohibited and your funds may be withheld if it is determined that your account has been used to engage in prohibited activity.

(This account was linked, not due to my fault, and Amazon realizes this but doesn't want to give me my money back.)

Depending on your account status and activities, you may be required to complete an additional review before funds can be released. Amazon may withhold payments if we determine that your account was used to sell inauthentic or prohibited goods, commit fraud or engage in other illegal or abusive activity.

(This was due to a complaint about the product).

I pray to god that Jeff's nude pics will be published soon. He should taste the bitterness his predatory company has been feeding sellers for ages now.

You..pretty much have only one choice and that is to arbitrate.

If the amount of money they're holding is rather big - you should definitely try to get a good lawyer and take further steps from there.

But it's only a few k - most likely they won't release it if you just going to communicate with them on your own...

arbitration is the way to go, keep researching online, if you're proactive enough you'll have it resolved

Question about arbitration.

Supposedly the lawyers will start looking at your account in far more detail if you go that route.

I wonder if they will notice linkage easier at that moment?

For example:

You use similar ip address whether it's from a mobile device or other.

You use the same supplier for invoices?

Same OS across multiple devices?

WHat do you mean who care if they got him linked?

Getting accounts linked is definitely not a good thing and as shown, he's lost a lot

I believe hes referring to taking legal action against Amazon for the funds they stole from OP. Having more than one account, ie "linkage" is irrelevant in a court case or to a judge. Amazon's "policy" is not law. Predatory stealing of peoples funds which Amazon is notorious for there are laws against (i'm assuming) ie: theft/embezzlement.

Amazon is a terrible, faceless company who does not care about you or any of its sellers. You are a rounding error. They will steal, embezzle, and destroy your business without hesitation.
