Request Invoice for Listings that are Inactive?
 

I want to know if Amazon can request invoice for listings that are inactive in my inventory and never sold?

How this is possible when listing is inactive and never sold? If amazon closes for that can we just say that it never sold and was listed by mistake?

Because amazon is automated and acts on flags. An ASIN flagged? Anyone selling on it will be flagged and requested for an invoice. I had this happen for a random asin which flabbergasted me. An old car part that has no offers, no activity, not even a sales rank.

They can but you can always write them a well worded POA stating that you don't have those products and only accidentally listed them inactive

Amazon won't ask any invoices for ASIN which was removed from Amazon.
However, there was some issue before, where Amazon use to Suspended account even though there were no listing on Amazon.

They have already fixed this issue and any live listing on Amazon and if Amazon triggers the Suspension and request for ASIN invoices, so it must be from the items you have listed on Amazon Already.

They won't ask you for the ASIN listed before etc.

I think he's saying the item is Inactive like..out of stock, and they're asking for invoices.

No, he said, the item which already been inactive. Out of stock items will be showing "Out of stock" Not inactive.

Interesting beautiful, that is good to know, there is so many weird quirks with amazon, it’s like they are trying to make everybody’s life very difficult

They can even request invoice for deleted listing if they receive inauthentic complaint from buyer
