Then you'll want bank statement, business license and utility - common requests further down the road

We verify stores entirely to avoid requests in the future, but some prefer step by step

I cant imagine a scenario where they check it with any agency of government. Most likely a script is run to check if the photo has been retouched

I'd really like to see this script which spots changes on photo ID... nothing like that exists IMO

Maybe changes in pixels shades. I am no expert, just guessing.

They use 3rd party verification services most likely to look at the quality of the information being submitted

Probably down to the pixel to ensure people aren't just submitting pshopped files

So after you provide the documents upon registration a new account how long amazon takes to review the documents and responds to you, I think you won’t be able sell until you get responds from amazon

Guys do you send the whole bank statement or just the first page of the statement where it shows the physical address name amount of transactions

I've used my passport for my current seller's account under my personal name, address..etc . If I use the same passport to verify my stealth account under a LLC would amazon find out that I already have an account? Or how does this verification thing even go

They should respond within ~12-48 hours if we're talking about the initial ID and bank verification.

I received this email from amazon

As part of our commitment to providing a more secure and trusted marketplace for our buyers and sellers, we recently asked you to provide documentation that confirms your account information. We were unable to verify the information you provided and are requesting that you resubmit the information so we can complete our review and activate your account.

These guidelines cover common scenarios that will help us review your documentation:.

For national ID cards, both sides of the card must be submitted in one digital file.
Each document must be clearly readable in its entirety without any blurry information or camera flash reflections.
The information you enter into the verification form (such as your ID number or name) must match the information on the documents you submit.
If we ask you to provide a bank account or credit card statement, we are unable to accept screenshots. The digital statement file must include:
The bank's name, logo, and address
The account holder's name
The date the statement was issued (must be issued in the past 90 days)
We are currently unable to accept these documents for verification:
Bank passbook (except in India and Japan)
Utility bills (for example, electricity or natural gas bills)
Business registration certificate
Photo of a credit card
MS Word file (file extension .doc or .docx)

Try passport, if that doesn't work either then they didn't like the information you submitted
