Advice on stealth name
 

Seems like a silly question and I know the stealth book had a section on this but I was looking for advice on a stealth name.

I plan on making an LLC without my name on it possible a register agent but I need to open a new bank account and ups shipping address

I'm pretty sure both of these locations will ask for some personal information even if it's under my company name.

I have a very distinct last name as well so I'm wondering if I try to use a nick name and maybe misspell a letter in my last name if that would work?

What do you mean by Stealth Name exactly?

For your company, you must use your real name and Social Security on the IRS website. If not, you are committing fraud. Also to open bank accounts etc...

If you buy shelved corporations, unless you want to spend thousands of dollars, you still need to get an EIN for them using your real name and SS number.

You could use your middle and last name on the stealth account and your real name on your LLC.

Create the LLC in your name and put another family members name on it as 0% shareholder or director.

Sorry for not being clear. My LLC will be under my authentic name and I was planning on just putting a register agent on it incase I ever have to provide the articles of organization to Amazon they wont see my info.

I meant specifically for opening up the ups address and bank account should I just use a middle and last name or a slight misspelling. Basically I dont want Amazon to ever look into my address or bank account and see my exact name attached.

I was thinking about doing for added security so I can prove everything through my partners name, but was hoping I could do something solo to help save getting others involved.

when you open UPS etc...You give them your Company name and address.

When you open your bank accounts, you give them your company name and EIN and by law, they need your SS and name or whoever opens the account. No way around giving up an SS for banks after 9-11

Two last questions.

on the bank I plan on opening a business account. I know theyll need my real info. If Amazon ever goes snooping or making deposits/withdrawls will they only see the companys name or will they happen to see the individual who opened it as well? If they do see the individuals name I can probably get it opened under my register agents name.

Secondly I'll need a company bank card to purchase items such as wholesale. If Amazon ever wants verification showing I bought it from a legit vendor I dont want my real name showing up that was on the card I purchased with. I dont want to get creative either knowing Amazon has called these vendors to double check purchase to ungate or prove items or legit.

Any thoughts?

Cards and bank cards will be in the Company name.

Make sure you also keep or ask for receipts from your sources...
