amazon pay

I got banned on amazon on the seller side like 5 years ago,

if I were to open a amazon pay merchant account will that automatically get shut down as well?

amazon pay does not entail even selling on amazons website anymore so their is no amazon commission........just the domestic fees of 2.9% + .30.

i just spoke with amazon seller support, the customer service agent told me I can use my name legal name and everything just not the same email address that was banned on amazon seller side along time ago.......

I would have to use a different email to associate with the amazon pay merchant account and she said that will be fine......

is this accurate information?

well she said, amazon pay is just a merchant service...........

I asked if other people were in a similar situation, she said yeah they were she said all they had to do was use a different email for amazon pay.......and you can use the same legal name and everything and it should be fine.....

well,

I can still use my buyer account on amazon just fine............I am not completely shunned off amazon.........I just can't list items to sell on their website....

"Merchant services" are one of the riskiest products Amazon can offer. Really doesn't make sense to me that they'd allow you to process payments when they've already determined you can't even sell on their site without causing problems.

I would also say that it most likely won't work. But.. if they said so - why do you have to lose?

I need real life experiences..........of people who have been through this.......not any educated guesses.....

Sounds like two separate things to me. If you do get linked what do you think they can do to the platform you're accepting payments on? Food for thought question.

hold payments for 90 days.........

if they try to hold payments indefinitely....I can sue them in court.....since everything is under my real name.
