Amazon Suspension risk: FBA vs FBM
 

Hi, members. Does using FBM instead of FBA decrease the chance of being suspended? I guess it should minimize the risk of "unsellable inventory found in your shipping plan", but will they still ask you for invoices if you use FBM? I mean when working only with authentic new items.

I am asking because since 2019 it has become impossible for me to start new ghost accounts, even if I provide high quality documents to Amazon. I always used FBA. Can switching to FBM decrease the risk?

I think it may happen because of drop shipping pattern. I've been sending to FBA from a long list of addresses and sometimes there 've been discrepancies in content and quantity. I think it can be the reason why Amazon treats my accounts so severely, such as not accepting my professionally written text appeals and in the end not accepting my professionally drawn invoices :) Amazon still tolerates drop shipping on my old account from 2017.

They don't treat accounts differently.

If you're doing FBA they can inspect the items you're selling, if they're legit products this is a better option

If you're doing FBM, they can't inspect the items etc.

FBM has more suspension risks than FBA for sure
