Using Mobile phone hot spot tethering to create stealth

Has anyone reported suspensions for using their mobile phone hot spot tethering to a laptop to create a stealth account? Just curious cause I heard the Ip's from phone companies gets thrown back into a pool and reused.

Exploring other options than purchasing a VPN if this is possible.

mobile IPs are magnitudes safer than a VPN. Every person using ebay is logging on on a phone. It is the most normal. Almost nobody uses a VPN so that is the least know and trusted.

That's probably not reason why they got suspended. It's the safest way to use, other than using VPNs, Proxies and VPS.

So eBay and Amazon don't link accounts when two different sellers ending up sharing the same IP address using two different hotspots.

Ex. Two different sellers at a coffee shop, two different sellers working in the same industrial park, or different sellers attending a conference/treadshow

That's definitely one of the factors they'll consider once your account went under review.
And they have their own way to verify that.

Whats a better option for ebay/amazon Stealth. VPN or using your mobile device as a hotspot?

They can detect the ip is from a cellular device
They also know that mobile companies recycle ips constantly and hence you shouldn’t experience any issues

I have been told IP is a "soft link"

IP is a soft link. You wont get 'linked' on IP alone.

Agree with this and while IP is a "soft link", there are other factors involved for linking.

You don't want to be using the same ISP whether its mobile or VPN to be creating a bunch of stores on the same day, that may give you linking problems

If you're making a lot of stores spread it out to different IP sources

Keep a log of all the Ips you use to avoid re-using the same one
