Prime through seller. Warehouse requirement?
 

Amazon-DE is making the prime badge available for sellers who wish to handle their inventory by themselves. The program is called "Prime through seller" and it involves a testing period which could last up to 90 days or something.


One of the requirements on their website is having a warehouse. Do you think they would accept one's own house as a warehouse? Or should I definitely rent a warehouse to fulfill that requirement?! :pop2:

I have never sold on Amazon before, so this will be my legit account. I want to keep everything about it clean as crystal for future scalability.

Faking a warehouse shouldn't be anything like stealthing an account. Much easier.

nothing wrong with using your house as a warehouse,AMZN just want to make sure you are not dropshipping.
If you sell small items like handtools,figurines,jewelry,your house can accomodate them easily.

Your home should be fine, nothing to say you don't have a whole building on site that is your warehouse.

I doubt it. To do this, you need a full-fledged warehouse and equipment for storing goods. My father tried to contact the Amazon and a whole commission came to him who checked his warehouse. He was fully prepared. All fire safety standards were observed in the warehouse and, moreover, He recently purchased new reliable warehouse racks from Kingmorack and he had all the conditions and Amazon approved him as an independent seller. We were very happy and just two weeks ago we started selling the first goods.
