Invoice request for supplier who doesn't allow amazon sales
 

I have a supplier but they state amazon sales are not allowed after I asked them (theres tons of others selling the same stuff on Amazon already).

I wonder what would happen if Amazon requests invoices and I give them this suppliers invoices and Amazon calls this supplier?

"Hello supplier, this is Pajeet from Seller Performance and we want to verify invoices for CanadianLeaf who is selling your products on Amazon"

"We dont allow our vendors to sell on Amazon, brick and mortar only"

"Okay thank you, I suspend him now bye-bye"

I dont care if I lose the supplier, I just dont want the account being suspended. What would happen in the above scenario you think?

After Amazon calls the supplier, more than likely you would receive the 'your supplier could not be verified' email.

You could try striking a deal with the supplier to allow you to sell on Amazon.

bit of a risk, but again, not always guaranteed that they will call the supplier

I can think of a few ways around it

Is there a phone number on the suppliers invoices and if so, who's phone number is on it?

no one knows,we are just speculating .
Your supplier will close your account,it could also ask AMZN to disallow anyone selling its products on AMZN.
letting weekend warrior type retailers sell on ebay or amzn will destroy its retail customer network,a company with good product would not allow it-Leica,Rolex,Prada etc.

It's highly unlikely that they would call.. But if you don't want to take chances - just get the invoice and ask someone to be creative on the phone number part.

I would not be creative with the phone number,if AMZN finds out,your account will be banned,
if it finds out from AMZN that you are selling on AMZN,it cant do anything with the orders you have placed,it could refuse to do business in the future,but at least you are on good term with AMZN

I had this happen to me. Remember it does not always work like this but here is my story:

Amazon called my supplier(he wouldnt care but if the manufacturer found out he was selling to me he would lose that product). My supplier called me and told me he verified my invoices for me but he told the rep that im not suppose to be selling this online just to cover his back. Amazon asked him why he keeps selling to me and my supplier told Amazon he has no control over what I do. I thought gee thanks now im going to lose my account... I waited for days, and finally Amazon reinstated my listing!:amen::amen: I thought I was doomed.

see,AMZN does not care if you sell this product on AMZN,it is between you and your supplier.
the worst scenario is that your supplier would cut you off.
