Amazon requiring to upload Driver License?
 

I just tried to register a new account, and amazon is requesting my driver's license picture.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm afraid to upload it and of course, they'll be able to link to my original account.

Important to note I'm using multilogin with luminati residential proxy to register this account.

I would register a new account and go down the stealth route. Fresh details. this will prevent any links to any old accounts.

If you previously uploaded your DL then you could try a different address and use your passport

But as I said above, i would rather use completely new details

I wonder if these days they are using AI to scan your photo and compare with others.
Las Vegas casinos do that,I suspect Target does it too.
when a suspected shoplifter/troublemaker walk in the door,backroom security is alerted.

If you have not yet used your drivers license and the address is unused on it, then you can use it as you shouldn't be linked alone on name.

Same goes with passport, since the passport doesn't have the address on it

Has that what's been changed as of recently? Amazon asking for drivers license? I never experienced that when i opened amazon stealth accounts.

national ID/passport/driver license have always been options as far as ID verification

for as long as I can remember

weird, is that a new thing? They never asked mine when i opened mine a year ago. They did ask for ein. But then again, u r from Canada, so it could be different there.

What if the address on the license matches an address on a suspended account? (I have never uploaded my DL before)

I have a friend that has a suspended account and uploaded his license (for the first time) on a stealth account and went thru no problems. Obviously risky af but somehow they didn't match up the info for some reason. Same name and address.

But wouldn't your SSN link the two? Or would you be setting it up as an LLC or another entity? I'm asking because I have a new ID with new address, and I had a suspended account with my real info many years ago so I'm beginning to wonder if I can't get another account started with my real ID and name with the new address I have?

i tried to upload a drivers license picture I purchased from a third party site to pass identity verification and amazon says they couldnt verify the info, where can I purchase documents that will pass identity verification?

if everything else is fresh and i use passport this time will they match my name with DOB?
