Using a shipping address not from my country of residence
 

Hi Guys.

I would like to know your opinions on a matter.

I have recently started up a seller account on Amazon UK for the first time. I live in South Africa, but I want to have my products dispatched from the residence of my sister in the UK so as to ensure swift shipping to my customers instead of them needing to wait for international shipping to arrive.

Will Amazon have any issue with me setting my shipping address as a location not in my registered residential address?

Would Amazon request any type of documents, such as proof of warehouse in the Uk or any such thing?

Also, does anyone think there may be any issues with using this method of shipping from the UK when I am based in South Africa? My sister is a housewife who is home all day, so she has no problem with having the packages collected from her residence.

Please advise as I do not want to risk the account being suspended for my shipping address not matching my location or anything silly like that.

There is no issue updating your ship from location, no additional requests should pop up either

Just make sure the address you're adding has not previously been used on amazon to your knowledge

if the items are in UK and your sister will do the shipping for you,not a problem,just makes Sure the return address is also UK

You should consider the use of FBA this bypasses this problem and they will deal with all returns.

AMZN FBA is expensive,you pay for storage whether items sell or not and if no one is buying .AMZN does not have connection with liquidator to dispose them,you have to pay AMZN to ship them back to you.
Use your closet,cabinets,garage,spare bedroom. or rent a storage

no,OP did not say what he is selling but his inventory will be with his sister and his sister will do all the packing and shipping,I am assuming she will hold his inventory in her home or nearby storage.
FBA cost money,his sister could be doing it cheap or free !!!
Oh,communication would be faster and cheaper,call her day or night!! not just 9-5 pm UK time
