Sold High Volume as New Seller - How to Play It Safe?
 

Hi all

I recently created my Amazon Professional Sellers account and I got off to a good first week on sales.

I sold 50 items for about $3,000 gross in the past 3 days.

Is it safe to continue? Or should I put my stock to 0 and wait until I receive funds for these to sell more? If I have to wait it appears I won't receive payout until 7 days after items are delivered which means I will have at least 14 days of no selling.

Please do give advice.

Firstly well done on the sales!!

Make sure you use tracked postage where ever possible.

I wouldn’t turn everything off completely but I would try to reduce the sales for now until you’ve had your first disbursement cleared

Does Amazon throw random suspensions on new sellers the same way Ebay does?

Yes!!! Amazons entire business model is based on their reputation with buyers, they suspend over the smallest thing and then look into it
