Amazon US -tracking numbers
 

Hi Guys,

I remember a while back Amazon US were requiring tracking on all orders-is that stick the case? even for smaller items?

that is correct for me anyways
all items sold must have tracking # even if its a small $2-3 item

i believe it will be used to confirm delivery of the package
and listing the same tracking# on multiple orders (diff customers) would be a bad idea

they use the tracking numbers to confirm the delivery and make sure your packages are arriving when they say you would. after too many non-delivery & late trackings they will give you warnings.. and then.. banned.

so if you are selling $2-3 items,you better charge shipping,else you end up losing money.
first class 2 ounce USPS is $2.65-2.85
how can you make money selling $2-3 items,unless you have a shop ?
everytime I sell a used dvd/VHS,I barely breakeven,I just want to get them out of my house

even more now... USPS first class has moved to a zone system. so even a 1oz package if you deliver it across the US will cost a minimum of $3.50 i believe.

it looks like so far highest first class is $3.09 to Ca for me if you print on EBAY.(2 ounces)
IF YOU DONT mind the extra work,print it on Paypalshipnow AND then copy the tracking number to your AMZN order.
use your credit card,not Paypal fund or bank fund and get the points from your cc issuer
