Got a good feeling about this one..... | is it stealth? |
| getaroundebay | 08-11-2009 04:00 PM | yeah! Still going :)
My last 2 accounts have gone in 30 minutes to 1 hour! Had one that was about 3 minutes??? |
| ovidiu | 08-11-2009 07:17 PM | Honestly, I'd hold off the celebrating until it's been about a month. Not trying to crash your party, but trying to be realistic. |
| bluemoon999 | 08-11-2009 07:48 PM | Hope it lasts longer this time, then you can upgrade your ID from getaroundebay to getaroundebay+amazon :) |

| getaroundebay | 08-12-2009 01:45 AM | Gone to google chrome from IE7.
Address 60 miles away from my location. |
| ovidiu | 08-12-2009 04:05 PM | That's very good. Both things would be on their checklist for tracking suspended ppl who are trying to get back on. |
| getaroundebay | 08-12-2009 04:36 PM | Well its been over 24 hours now, and still not kicked.
So looks OK.
A month or so selling random stuff then slowly slowly introduce my favourite amazon stock! |
| ovidiu | 08-13-2009 09:36 AM | Best of luck man. I wish selling on these websites wasn't like filling out your taxes...every time you log in, some new challenge or BS measure. |
| getaroundebay | 08-14-2009 08:31 AM | Yeah well, its worth it in the end!! |
| Recherché | 08-14-2009 04:58 PM | I created a new stealth account with amazon as well. Will wait about 3 weeks before posting items I havn't sold before. Then gradually increase to include all my top selling items that made me a lot of $$$ in the past. I'm hesitant though as I know there is a way amazon keeps tabs on that. Do they keep records of past inventory and if your stealth matches to closely it is an automatic ban? |
| Vicvelcro | 08-14-2009 05:03 PM | It's an automatic review, at the very least. Depends on how close the match is. |
| avb9920 | 08-14-2009 06:29 PM | I am trying to open a stealth account also....a family member, with the same last name will open a bank account for me to use. Will that be a tip off?
Also, I'm using her home address, which is probably only 5 miles from my blocked address.
Will these things get me found out? |
| getaroundebay | 08-14-2009 07:16 PM | quite possibly.
Bank account really doesnt matter with amazon, caus there's no direct debits, they just pay you straight away! |
| nobody999 | 08-15-2009 11:40 AM | i wonder if amazon knows where the bank account is located.....for example, you register a stealth account with information from NY, but when you put in your routing number on your check for the direct deposit from amazon, they know your from FL, then they might be able to link it somehow to your suspended account if it matches what the suspended account was selling.
i hope this makes sense. |
| getaroundebay | 08-15-2009 12:51 PM | Well in the UK we have "sort codes", you can google this and it will tell you what bank and where exactly the bank is, so I am sure, if an amazon employee so wished, could see where your account is located.
Although to be honest that really isn't much of an issue.
Since you could live in London, move to birmingham and you would keep the same sort code. |
| ovidiu | 08-15-2009 02:12 PM | Same here. Part of the routing number identifies the bank (not the particular branch, just the company AFAIK), but if you're using a nationwide chain, who cares? I doubt they use this particular piece of information. |
| Vicvelcro | 08-15-2009 02:16 PM | They might be using it. Say you open bank acct in small bank, they check routing which says NO WAY/NOT HERE... maybe busted.
Say you open bank with nationwide routing code, they check routing which says EVERYBODY WELCOME... not busted.
Just a possibility. |
| ovidiu | 08-15-2009 11:30 PM | I think Vic put it a little more clearly than I did :thumb: |
Is your account still up? Is you account still up and running. Quote:

| getaroundebay | 08-22-2009 12:05 PM | Yeah it is!!! |
| getbackonamazon | 09-08-2009 06:42 PM | amazon require you to put a name when you register they ask for first and last name. What do you do just make up some BS name? How bout for address, doesn't it need to be a legit address? And what about CC cardholder name and billing address? I will change my name and buy a house in the ghetto for $5,000 and set up a computer with DSL just chilling in empty ghetto house, that I remote access into, to get back on there....thanks |
| Recherché | 09-09-2009 10:19 AM | I had my stealth amazon up and running for two weeks. No suspension due to linked accounts. I did everything in stealth book. Still used the same laptop as earlier suspended accounts. Different user accounts, new ip, new browser. I used new browser firefox w/ ccleaner & BetterPrivacy.
I registered at one of wholesale companies online and posted about a hundred products to new account while slowly adding my own inventory I was suspended with. I did so overprice them so not to get any sales as I had no intentions of selling any. I did rack up and sold out of my inventory sitting around since last suspension. I was hoping amazon wouldn't somehow link my items sold to earlier accounts.
All was going well until, alas, a week ago I had customer email me through amazon that his item I sold to him was a $#@*. I promptly refunded his money. But being that he emailed me through amazon, as of yesterday they suspended my account with dreaded 90 day hold due to "selling recopied material."
I have already opened up new amazon account with everything different. A sugestion to all who are new and sell high risk items on amazon: Always try get customers to email you directly and NOT through amazon as they retain copies of all email sent through them. Always include in invoice how to contact you personally if anything is awry with order. It seems either someone is checking emails with new accounts at amazon or they have bots that pick up on words like counterfeit, copy, illegal and whatnot. |
| dennisjaneway | 09-13-2009 07:54 PM | its a robot Hi,
yes i think its a robot, i get a message from Amazon, after a costumer wrote me, that one DVD is not working correct.
They wrote, if they received a message from any person, that i sell recopies, they will block my account, only a warning, but not very friendly.
Greets |
| ovidiu | 09-13-2009 10:43 PM | Put in a little customer service paper and ask them to email you directly instead of thru the Amazon system. |
is it still up and running after few months? |
| hollerme | 11-22-2009 06:14 AM | Hi,
How did you manage to do that? I have a few Blu-Rays I want to sell on Amazon (I started a site but in order to generate more sales there figured I should do some selling on Amazon) so would like to know how. I see others mentioned 'stealth'. Is there a link to that on this forum? |
| jbluntz | 11-29-2009 11:12 PM | I think I'm going to take a diferrent aproach, since amazon suspends so quickly instead of trying make it last long, which you could still do of coarse rather focus more on establishing an income off of the 90 day holds, think of it like shorting stocks. |
