Amazon ask me to Change Entities
 

Ghost Account registered as individual vendor

today Amazon sent me this mail:

It is currently registered as a "physical person" vendor, but its sales activity corresponds to the criteria of a company. Below you will find information on different legal entities.

If you believe that your sales activity is within the "Individual vendor" category, please reply directly to this e-mail and confirm the origin of your inventory for the last 12 months.

I don't have a VAT number obviously being a ghost account.

Any help or suggestion?

What do you advise me to write?.... I sold a lot of units..


Enter a creative VAT number is not recommended?

Do not enter a creative VAT number.

You will need to reply to them. Have you been selling more than 5-10 units of each item?
If no, You can explain that your using this as a side job and that you got these products from a garage sale or some similar type of excuse.

Maybe someone else may be able to chime in with another angle you could approach this.

I have 20 item and I sell 20-100 of each :-(

No do not do this. Stop trying to bypass it.
Either reply to them or create a new account.

They gave me 28 days time. Do you advise me to cash in and close the account?

I have also had the same message.

However, they are not asking for a VAT number?

I will wait until it is close to the 28 day period then update it as a sole trader.

What info will they then ask for?

I may in the interim set up another account.

Any advice?

I think changing entities will ask VAT number

I will also wait 28 days to cash in and then decide what to do
